Ply is a video mapping project that transforms the Sferisterio’s façade into a living and sensitive surface, on the occasion of the Macerata Opera Festival. Visual layers inspired by moving fabrics bend and transform, allowing surreal gestures and abstract shapes to emerge. Through a sequence of textures and metamorphoses, architecture reveals unprecedented dimensions, suspended between softness and monumentality. Ply investigates the perceptual threshold between surface and structure, immobility and movement, activating a new experience of scenic and urban space
