Subterra Incognita is a video mapping project that transforms Le Quadrilatère – Centre d’Art into an open window onto a universe hidden beneath the Earth’s surface. Inspired by speculative visions of the Earth’s interior and the imagery of Journey to the Centre of the Earth, the work constructs a landscape of buried architecture, mineral cathedrals, and ever-changing underground geographies. The images emerge as traces of a deep memory, suspended between myth, geology, and imagination, restoring to the space of the unknown a dimension of wonder and possibility.
